HOYA History: The Logo

The HOYA logo is one of the great enduring traditions of the paper. In 80+ years of service, there have only been two general designs.

The original or "classic" HOYA logo was designed by Al Reid (C'21), while the "modern" HOYA logo, arrived in 1979.

We are still looking for images of two variations of the "classic" logo from 1975-78 and 1980-81 to include on this page. Send an e-mail to info@hoyaalumni.com if you have a photo of either.
