Victor Morris (1982-1985)

A fan favorite, Victor Morris had the size but not the skill to escape a deep Georgetown bench in the mid-1980's.

The 6-9 Morris averaged 12 points and 13 rebounds a game at Houston's Kashmere HS when he arrived at Georgetown in the fall of 1982 but failed to see significant time in his first two seasons, except at the end of games. An eight point effort in a 62 point walkover of Hawaii-Hilo in November 1983 was his career high.

Without comment from Georgetown, Morris did not play in the 1984-85 season and after five games in the 1985-86 season, transferred to Alcorn State with just one semester of eligibility remaining. Morris started in four of 15 games for the Braves in the spring of 1987, averaging 4.6 points and 3.7 rebounds a game.
