Georgetown has played games in 39 states, as well as games in Canada and Puerto Rico. All but three states east of the Mississippi River (Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire) have hosted the Hoyas for a basketball game at least once in its history.

Here is a review of games played by state, including neutral site and post-season appearances. Home games played at Capital Centre through 1998 count in Maryland's totals, and various road games with George Washington and American in the 1960's and 1970's played at Ft. Myer, VA count in Virginia's state totals.
