Ryan Mutombo (2021-2024)

The son of former Georgetown All-American Dikembe Mutombo, Ryan Mutombo saw action in 27 games as a freshman, averaging 5.1 points per game with a season high of 15 points versus UMBC. Expected to be a significant contributor as a sophomore, Mutombo fell off the depth chart in 2022-23. He played in just 12 games, with a season high of seven points against Marquette, and did not play the final two games of the season, each of which were runaway losses.

As a junior, Mutombo was expected to offer some veteran support for the 2023-24 Hoyas, but his lack of mobility proved limiting in the offenses that Ed Cooley brought to the Georeotwn program. Mutombo played in just 15 games that season, and did not see any action in the final eight games of the season.

Having completed his degree requirments a year early (the first modern era player to do so), Ryan Mutombo was accepted to a graduate program at Georgia Tech to complete his eligibility.
